One of our favorite things about living here has been the feeling of privacy and tranquility. Despite being minutes from shopping, restaurants, and DFW Airport, the backyard often feels more like a private country retreat than a suburban neighborhood.
We also loved walking with our grandchildren down the quiet streets to the neighborhood pond, where ducks and geese gather around the fountain. From there, the walking and biking trails connect to nearby parks and recreation areas, creating endless opportunities for family adventures.
The neighborhood streets are so lightly traveled that our grandchildren often ride their bikes and scooters alongside us during our walks.
It is a rare combination of privacy, convenience, and community that is increasingly difficult to find.
Below is a drone video showing an accelerated walk that we have taken countless times from our home to the pond where we enjoy the beautiful fountain, watching the ducks and geese, and fishing. From there we continue to the incredible bike and walking path that is 11 miles end to end and has incredible scenery along the way. Just a short walk down the bike path gets you to the playground area that is excellent for small children. This beautiful and peaceful walk on a low traffic street.
